This one is almost ready. All is missing is the face. I don’t know yet if it is a boy or a girl. It could be either depending on the hair style.  I’m most inclined to leave it undefined and let the child’s imagination to decide. With this doll I also explored a new way of working in preparation for the doll making workshop I’m giving this Summer. It needs just a little refining, but I think the new method is going to work out very well. I’m very excited!!!

The doll making workshop is taking place from July 13 to 17, 2015 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm as part of the Bringing Spirit Into Matter – Summer Festival of Arts and Education at the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto. Here for their full pdf programme.
