What have I been up to?

Wow, the speed of things really picked up in my corner of the world after the Summer break. It wasn’t my intention to go on a blog break at all, but the time to sit down with a clear mind for writing never seemed to materialize. I’ve got my hands full with lots of fun things, but it has been challenging to keep it all in balance at times. Since September I’ve been teaching sock knitting to parents at school. The group is still going strong and I’m proud to say that quite a few have successfully finished their pair of socks! I’m also facilitating a handwork circle for parents every other Tuesday evening. People bring whatever project they are working on and we have a nice time keeping our hands busy and  enjoying good company. On top of that I’m also  running a doll making workshop on Thursday evenings. Phew! … I’m not even going to mention all the crafts projects I’m working on… ok, tomorrow I’ll show one that I just finished. I promise.

 

 

Caramba, depois das férias de verão a vida ficou super corrida aqui no meu cantinho do mundo. Eu não tinha nenhuma intençaõ de tirar férias do blog, mas o tempo para sentar com a cuca fresca para escrever nunca se materializou. Eu estou ocupada com um monte de coisa boa, mas não sem os desafios de manter a vida equilibrada. Desde setembro eu tenho ensinado a fazer meia de tricô para os pais na escola da marta e Lili. O grupo continua firme e forte e é com orgulho que eu conto que muitos já terminaram seu par de meias. De quinze em quinze dias, às terças à noite eu facilito um grupo de trabalhos manuais, também para os pais da escola. E prar completar também estou dando um curso de bonecas as quintas à noite. Ufa! Não vou nem contar os projetos nos quais estou trabalhando… tà bom, amanhã eu mostro um deles. Prometo.
