Friday Muffins

 

We’re still going with the Friday muffins. Last week I tried, with much success, the Chocolate Streusel Pecan Muffins. It was my first time making muffins with a topping and it not only looked great but it was also deelicious. Today, as per Warren’s request, we had cherry muffins to which I added a little cinnamon glaze on top so they don’t look so naked! It was fluffy, moist and the  tangy succulent cherries gave it a very special flavor. Next week will be the last one we’ll have a picnic at school so I have to find yet another recipe to try. I’m liking this game!

 

 

Os bolinhos da sexta feira continuam  com força total. Semana passada experimentei, com sucesso, o Chocolate Streusel Pecan Muffins. Foi a primeira vez que fiz bolinho com essa cobertura crocante e ficou divino. Hoje, atendendo ao pedido do  Warren,  eu fiz mufin de cereja e adicionei uma glace de canela para eles não ficarem tão carecas. Ficaram fofos, molhadinhos e com um sabor todo especial dado pelas cerejas. Como semana que vem é o nosso último pique nique na escola tenho que achar mais uma receita para experimentar. Eu estou bem gostando dessa brincadeira.
